Pain: a neglected disability rights issue?

When: Tuesday 11 March, 4:00 - 5:15pm

Where: Ian Potter Auditorium & online

Professor Tom Shakespeare will be joining us in Melbourne on Tuesday 11 March 2025!

In public health terms, pain is a common issue: in some surveys it is the most common symptom reported. But is it a disability rights issue?

At this free event, Professor Tom Shakespeare will be joined by a panel of people with disability to discuss how chronic pain impacts people’s everyday lives and how providing the right support could help both those in pain and the wider community.
